Having a hard time deciding if I should have the boat pulled for the winter or keep her on the water. I am familiar with the prep if we choose to have it pulled but what should be done if its going to winter over a float. Given our normally mild winters, at least compared to upstate NY, it seems like it might be possible to go out at least a few times between end of Nov when I have usually pulled and early April when it has gone back in.
If I leave it on the water the marina will deal with a bubbler if that is necessary but how do I protect my engine the new one is fresh water cooled. I know I can deal with the water and waste systems by drain them and where not possible filling with non toxic antifreeze.
