Thanks so much.... a great thread. Boat in South of France (I'm in sunny England).... this is going to help so much. And Artboas... I did find your other thread (use Sikaflex etc...). Brilliant stuff. Anyone planning on being in France for the Spring?

why is 795 recommended over 5200?

795 is the bedding compound used for auto windshield. The reason it is used, is for stress relief on the shield.

Your Lexan windshield needs to flex from thermal [Sun] and deck FRP stresses. 5200 does not flex as well and may result in your Lexan cracking.
