WINDLASS MOTOR REPLACEMENT

Hi fellow cruisers!
I am searching for a replacement motor for my Simpson Lawlence windlass on my Hunter 410 2000. it seems that they are discontinued, maybe one of you have a replacement alternative or have a used spair in there garage...part number on the motor is 47045949... any idea is more then welcome, thanks

A lot of different windlasses use the same motors. Any differences are usually in how the shaft connects to the gearbox, but those are usually external pieces or through a common keyway. For example, the motor in our Lofrans windlass is the same one used in our previous Maxwell windlass.

So you may want to broaden your search beyond an old SL part number. Many times peeling back a brand sticker reveals the OEM motor sticker underneath.
