Windlass kinda limp

Ok everyone!
I wanted to get back as promised and let you know how this saga ended.
We have a perfectly fine power windlass!!!!
The only problems were a weak unused and undercharged battery that was connected to the genset of all places and two new owners who would have never thought to look there for the problem. We just assumed it was connected to the new house bank, and well, we all know what happens when we assume stuff. Thanks for all the great feedback.
