Does anyone know the performance details of the legacy windlass (Simpson Lawrence) on the 426/44? Also, has anyone replaced the unit? If so, what brand/model did you choose?

On my 376 it came with a SL 1500. I replaced it with a Lewmar...the one they said was a replacement. It works well but I did have to glass over the top of the old mounting surface a bit as the holes didn't match up that well. I also felt the surface needed a bit more glass too so I just glassed over it instead of griding out and redoing it if that makes any sense.
