Different Target Market
Disclaimer - I've not sailed either boat, but I have been aboard both. From my perspective, the 320 followed the Catalina "lineage" and offered a boat that was set up to be good for a family - mom, dad & a couple of kids, or maybe another couple. The 310 came on the market a few years later, targeting the "no kids" bunch - either didn't have kids, or they were grown and gone. Kind of a different philosophy, where overnight guests on the boat were possible, but really didn't happen all that often. Utilize more space for the owner and don't try to squeeze two "real" sets of accomodations into a 30-ish size hull.Just my observations. (coming from an ex-C27 owner who coveted the 320, until I coveted the 310, until I bought the 350...)Tim BroganApril IV C350 #68Seattle
