Sorry, not following. It is completely reasonable that the freedom would draw over 100 AMPS. The microwave, even though its rated at 700W, will draw about 1300W (AC). It even says so on the name plate. The freedom has a 5% power loss, so even if the freedom was drawing 125 AMPS (see photo), according to ohms law:the Freedom draws over 100 AMPS --WE ARE NOT ON THE SAME BOOK OR PAGE !
WATTS = CURRENT x VOLTAGE
125A x 11.0V = 1375W
Regarding the lack of grounding theory, I looked at it, and determined that the ground was fine. If it wasn't, then THIS microwave wouldn't work.
Still, the whole purpose of this thread was to list microwaves that work with modified sine wave inverters, like the Freedom 20. My new microwave (the original photo) didn't. It would be great of someone said that they bought this 700W unit from Walmart, model xxx, and it works great. That is what I really wanted to know.
