Just moved to the area last December. Borrowed a friends spare dock up off Cortez Rd a couple miles east of the ICW. We keep the boat at the Hide-A-Way storage facility on Hwy-301 in Ellenton. Used the ramp next to Regatta Point Marina. Very nice sailboat friendly ramp. We pulled the boat yesterday as we're towing the boat up to northern Michigan to attend the annual Catalina-22 Great Lakes Cruise. We'll have to get together after we get back. Really enjoying the area so far, but the water depths are very different from what we experienced in California.

I sail just on the Manatee river, usually just to the Bradenton bridges. Have sailed to Ft. Haymer but thats it with this boat. Had the biger stuff in my younger years. Did the gulf and bay and the Keys once. Just an easy sailor now.
