last weekend, we got the last of the "big" projects completed. We flipped the switch and cool air began to magically blow!Last February, we started a complete rebuild of our cabin interior. It's amazing that we got everything torn out in one day and it took five months to rebuild it!From that bare hull we have done the following:Complete rewire of the 12 volt system,New 700 watt inverter,Installation of new battery charger,New pressure water system including, new sink, drains, water lines, pump and tank,New head and holding tank, freshwater flush,New interior lighting,New galley including Origo stoveNew starbord and port settees with copious storage underneath,New nav station/power center with new d/c power panel,New shore power installation (we didn't have shore power before) including; shore power inlet, galvanic isolator, a/c panel, outlets,New air conditioner which we flipped on last weekend (yeah!) Just in time as the temp that day got near 100!I must say that we have been preparing to do this for over a year. I have been shopping Ebay religiously. Most everything I purchased, I got on Ebay (sounds like a commercial, doesn't it?) I calculated that I have saved over half the retail price.
