Where is the power supply wiring for the TV in a 315?

I do not have a TV installed, but I do have a breaker for the TV.

I assume Catalina ran the power wire somewhere to the Port side, potentially under the salon settee, and then capped the wires.

Can a 315 owner show me where their TVs power it routed?

Is it inside here, near the water pump wiring?

no personal experience but I suggest you open the panel to see if any wires are connected to that breaker. Just because the panel label is there doesn’t necessarily mean anything. If there are wires connected, at least you’ll know there are wires somewhere.

On my 2002 310 I also have a tv breaker that has no wires attached. To keep the admiral happy I ran a 12 gauge wire to the port side and into the upper portion of the forward locker there. From Amazon I purchased a step up converter 12 to 17 volts to power the tv. The system works fine. Another 310 nearby uses a 12 to 120 converter, which uses a lot of power needlessly to change the voltage back and forth, when a simple converter will do. He now complains of limited tv use due to power consumption. Told him what I have done but for unknown reasons ( his boat his choice) he retains his system. Seems soap operas are more addictive than I originally thought.

for what its worth, my 400 had a 12v tv switch wired to a cigar lighter outlet in the cabinets, where a cigar plug in converter powered a 110v small tv

On examination of the breaker panel it appears the wires were not installed to the circuit breaker as had Don suggested.

Now I have to figure the best way to get the wires over there.

If I can make another suggestion, look at how much power your TV draws and if any nearby wiring has the extra capacity in terms of wire size and breaker rating. Might be easier to tap off somewhere in an existing circuit rather than run a separate circuit.
Certainly not an elegant solution but I don’t know how difficult it is to run new wires across your boat.. If in doubt of exceeding the current rating, ignore everything I just wrote.

I was going to use the TV wire for (2) tank sensors. I figure if they were there and not used, it would simplify running the wires.

I'm going to add a 5A circuit breaker and figure out how to run the 14/2 cable to feed the sensors. The sensors only need ~0.1A, but the run is long.
