What type of fitting is this?

Looking at your picture in the OP the way the larger pipe on the top left is bending as it exits the fitting. That is one to watch out for. You should avoid bending in that area. It will cause the fitting to leak.

I don't know the brand name, but they are used in my RV. They work quite well. Finger tight and then a smidge more, and you are good to go.
Hi Tom, what I learned from a manufacturer vendor article a few years ago was to tighten until you hear the fitting start to squeak, then another quarter turn. Seems to work for our boat.

Sounds good, Terry. But with my hearing, I'm liable to go way too tight!

Mnmpizza,
I had to replace my diverting valve that controls aft and side water tanks a few years back and could not find anything to match.
Lowes home center had bass air compressor fittings that matched up perfectly. Fairly inexpensive Approximately $5.oo.
Five years now and no issues.
