What should we do with a 100 year old sailboat? It's still floating, has great masts, great booms, the entire topside is in mint condition. However, below the waterline needs serious re-planking. We paid very little for it, but don't have the money to restore it. We don't want to sell it for scrap. The boat is beautiful, re-rigged with Bermuda sails prior to my purchase. I hate to see all the timbers and original mast go to waste. Any suggestions?
The boat is a 1910 Stone Reverie, a beautiful ketch and amazing sailboat in its day.
Also, does anyone know of a owner's association for Stone boats?
