What the heck are these compression fittings?!

Hi all! I'm replacing some leaky freshwater fittings on my 1990 Beneteau. Our entire freshwater manifold and some intake seacocks have these black plasticky compression fittings. They have a cone, a hoop with a slit, and an o-ring inside. We cannot figure out what the pipe thread is for us to replace these. The previous owner thinks that they might be European, but had no insight into the make or thread.

Does anyone know what these are? If so, where can we get replacements?

THANK YOU! Been searching the web to no avail!

Fresh water plumbing is outside my area of expertise. But you've told me enough to be able to make an intelligent observation: Your boat is a 1990. If those fittings are original, they're 35 years old, making them so obsolete--and possibly compounded by Beneteau's use of metric sizing) that it's not surprising that you can't find any that are anywhere even close to them...fresh water plumbing, both fittings and hoses, has changed quite a bit in 35 years It's time to replace all your fresh water plumbing (and fwiw, all of the above may also be true of your sanitation system if it's anywhere near as old as your fresh water system...I CAN give you good advice about that.)

You should be able to get a lot of useful info and advice about replacing your fresh water plumbing from other owners--not necessarily Beneteau owners--if you start a new thread with a title something like "Need to replace obsolete freshwater plumbing."

My water maker uses a lot of quick connect type plastic fittings. Water makers and lawn sprinkler systems with plastic hose and fittings seem to use OD sizes and not ID. Check out this link for John Guest fittings. Ive found them to be a very good brand- John Guest – H2O Distributors I havnt used that supplier, just providing a link for reference to the parts.

Check Fresh Water Systems Co.
I agree with Mark, why not just replace the fittings with updated connections.
I redid my 340’s fresh water system using John Guest connection elbows, T’s, etc. All very easy to disconnect when, winterizing and needing to bypass water heaters.
I found Fresh Water System very reasonably priced. In my case, I replaced lines and fittings with 15 mm size, but I would check with them as to matching your lines to new fittings.

I learned last fall that Euro/Metric PEX pipes are measured with the inside diameter while US/US-Customary are measured with the outside diameter.

Anyway, back to original topic - I also have no idea what those are. As others have noted, maybe for landscaping or something and possibly not drinking water safe?
