William Tyler:
Man...! I really like him. I took a quick perusal on Youtube of his stuff.
Definitely being added to my sailing playlist.

Oh, I forgot to add Cat Stevens to my earlier list. Tea for the Tillerman.

Stephen Stills was a sailor.
Name four other rock stars who were sailors as well.
David Crosby was a big time sailor. Owned the 74’ Alden wooden schooner, Mayan, for 44 years. He wrote wooden ships, carry me, & lee shore while on board. Stephen Stills wrote southern cross on board Mayan enroute to Tahiti.
Crosby sailed the Caribbean, Hawaii, & South Pacific.

Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys owned the 50 foot wooden sloop Harmony, built in Japan in 1950. Sailed the Channel Islands off California & Mexican Coast. Brian Wilson wasn’t a sailor, but he wrote or arranged sloop John B & sail on sailor.

Like others, depends on the mood. Sometimes no music, but my favorites include:
Buffett
Reggae artists
Bob & zigy Marley, Peter tosh, Toots, & UB40
Clapton
Steve Winwood
Dr John
Van Morrison
Beach Boys
Allman Brothers
And some Zydeco to lighten up!

If I want a guaranteed eye roll from my mates while sailing, I can turn the volume up and sing along to “Sailing” at the top of my lungs. What do you like to listen to when the sails are up and the engine is off?
The wind in the sails, and the waves on the hull
