It is to cool the engine compartment. It vents on the port side of the cabin aft of the galley window and forward of the cockpit. It keeps the engine compartment heat from seeping into the interior of the boat. I suppose you could use it to keep engine temp lower also. There are no fumes to speak of or bad odors associated with a properly working diesel installation.I know this is a really dumb question, but what is a blower? On our 2005 Hunter 41DS's 12 VDC circuit panel, the bottom switch is titled "Blower". But nowhere in the owners manual do they talk about it. What does it blow?
