What happened to your engine? Are you sure you need a new one or can it be rebuilt? A firend on a Catalina 42 is going through a rebuild now, a much cheaper option than new.

Last year - Stark Terror in her eyes as the boat heeled less than five degrees.
This year - "It's only 20 degrees. As long as the rail's not under the water..."

Amazing what lessons have done for us.
And she insisted that I get the Cape Dory because she liked the woodwork.

Worth all the effort in developing good spousal communication on the water.

Bob,

We are at Crystal Cove - on the wait list for WYC. We participated in the CPYC Wednesday races. Yesterday we were in the Great Chase Race. Oct 1st will be the Boston Harbor Islands Regatta.

We will look for "Triple Play" next weekend. Starting to recognize different boats, now. Our Capri has the NH registration and quietly motors using a Torqeedo.

we went down to the boat today for the first time since they had repaired the ramp to our pier. We went straight from church so Nancy dug around and found change clothes for us and we cleared about two tons of flotsam from around the boat. I just started the engine and pushed the stuff into the propwash. She fixed tea and found snacks and we had a very pleasant afternoon.
