Nice picture! Are you telling me that the yard wanted $2K to take the mast down repair the deck under the step and dish and replace it all for... $2K? Wow this is a rich man's sport! I can have the rig taken down for $200 and restepped for same. I will fix the deck for about $150 in materials. (estimated) and it will take only a few days of good weather. I am in Maine! the good days of weather are the hardest thing to come by this time of year.
