this is a photo of me in "the dog house". I have also been doing like Sam, putting the water system parts on the wall. I also plan to move my raw water strainer and fuel strainer there, much easier to get to that way.
You can see my fuel polishing system in front of me. The details of that are posted on my site WindDragon

my two cents

The only thing I would advise is to be careful when selecting a pump. I learned the hard way that the most GPH isn't necessarily the best option. You'd be surprised how fast you can empty that water tank!

Sorry but I now have to bother you also! Too bad you posted a picture, which I need to clarify: it seems you have the same boat as mine (mine is an 82 model)
The fuel polishing system in front of you is right against the starboard side of the boat, correct?
The other day I tried to put some hook against the side, but it is so thin the screw went right through to the outside of the boat
So how did you mount the board where the stuff is attached to it? Did yoiu use epoxy, or what?
Very curious here in Houston...

Gray Penguin,
One more question: where did you get the picture on the website of the Hunter 33?
Did you cut off the top of the mast, or can you get the whole picture?
It looks great, I would like one of those (like a kid, who wants everything he sees!)

Mine is a 78 model (hull # 52 if I read the HIN correctly)

The fuel polishing system is attached to the legs of the stand I built to set my waste water tank on, not the side of the boat. You can see more details and drawings on my site WindDragon here is the drawing I have posted:

The 2X1 oak frame has a 1/4" starboard attached to it, that the fuel polishing system is attached to.

I found that one somewhere on the web or a pdf brochure. It had the top cut off when I found it so, no I don't have a full photo. I have yet to sail wind dragon so I don't have a "under sail" photo so I made due with that one for now.
