Need your wisdom, can an oil based antifouling be painted over by a water based AF paint? Also, any experience/anecdotes about water based AF? Thank you!

Just did the bottom 2 weeks ago with Hydrocoat. It rolled on super easy, coverage was as advertised, no strong/bad odor and it washed off with soap and water. I like the fact it doesn't need to be sanded before recoating. Hopefully its antifouling properties are as good. Will know in the fall.

The only real complaint I’ve heard of Hydrocoat is that as it wears it becomes draggy and slow, even if kept clean. I did hear it from a racer who usually uses the super smooth VC-17, so his threshold for the drag of a porous paint is probably pretty low.
