If you're looking to rent a Com-Pac 16 in the Orlando area try Lake Fairview Marina. They're located east of downtown Orlando, about 20 minutes or so East on I-4. I sailed My first Com-Pac there. The 16's they have there are OK but their 23 is pretty tired (I wouldn't bother renting it).
They're lake is nice too. It's a couple miles X a couple miles. Nice for sailing but you don't need a compass.
I took my kids out on a 16 for an afternoon. A nice breezy day, a couple Subway subs and a disposable camera for each of the kids...it was a great day! I bought my ComPac 23 three months later
