Just purchased a C-27 and am moored at Horseshoe Bay. So far I've brought the boat back from Campbell River, Sailed to Gambier/Gibsons and up Indian Arm. Any suggestions what I should try next?

Gulf Islands

Simple solution. The Gulf Islands are at your door step. Too many kewl places to mention, but you could sail for years. Also try Nanaimo, Ganges, Victoria (be sure to go to Monte's) and Sydney. Watch the tides and ride 'em. You'll be fine. Sean

Gulf islands

I agree the gulf islands are the way to go. Your only concerns will be managing the tides for active pass or porlier, and don't forget the ferries or the freighter traffic on your crossing. After a few weeks in the gulf islands you might consider doing what many of us living in vancouver do, and that is moor the boat in sidney and just take the ferry over.

San Juan's

You could also try going South to the San Juan's. Plenty of nice anchorages and a marinas. If you cross the straits Silvia Bay is a great landfall, sheltered and you don't have to worry about arriving for a specific time for the tide.
