Finished the prep the other day.



and got the primer on yesterday afternoon.



It doesn't look too bad but needs sanding of course...



It's a two part epoxy sealer sanding primer because this is a 35 year old hull and shows it.



I still have some spots that even the primer won't fill.



That's what epoxy is for. The final layup was 10 mils wet which will cure to about 8 mils. We'll sand off 3 mils and then spray topcoat. We also got the varnish job. Should be fun...

Yes we did. It looks to be clearing off this morning so we'll have until Saturday night to get more done.

Rough day at the yard. The little storm that came through shredded our masking and brought down some of the tent framing AGAIN!

The weather was too marginal to use electric sanders in so all we could do was clean up the mess.

This is gonna cost us another 24 or so man hours to remask and repair the framing.

Good thing we pulled down the plastic and rolled and taped it up or the whole thing would've been shredded.

We've got one day, Saturday, to get some work done and then another series of fronts roll through.
This thing being outside is kicking our tails...

I feel for you! I know how long those temp shelters take to set up... That just sucks.
