Using and STORING a Bluetti AC200Max for AC power on a 310

Good day. I have recently purchased a Bluetti AC200Max Solar Generator for home back up, primarily in the winter, and was planning on using it in the summer for powering my AC needs. Either through the shore power plug or as a stand alone with its own plugs. It has a 2200W pure sine inverter and 2048Wh LiFePo capacity which will be great for weekends and overnights. The only issue is its weight, which is 60lbs. Has anyone used one of these or an equivalent?

I have a reasonable house bank (345Ah Fireflies) which works great, so this is just an add on as I already own it. This is instead of buying an inverter for the house bank. I am mostly concerned with how to store and secure it onboard. I have thought that the main lazarette could work with a padded bin or even the port aft lazarette again with some type of bin and securing. Some type of strap attachment to the aft port bulkhead (on the quarter berth behind the head)? Any ideas are welcome. BTW it measures 16.5"x11"x15.2" Looking forward to hearing what your combined brains can come up with.

Wherever you decide to store it, probably best to have it in a waterproof bag.. granted, your sailing is in fresh water, but it is an expensive piece to risk. I have memories of a videographer's $3000 camera losing the magic smoke as it sat on a cockpit seat .. one little wave splash was all it took..
I have thought of the same thing, though,.. those are a kinda neat way to have pure sine wave AC and with some judicious application of Velcro, the panels could be secured to the bimini. On the other hand, a Honda inverter generator is about the same size, a little less expensive and 20% lighter. It can output about 6 times the number of watt hours of the Bluetti on one gallon of gasoline. The downside is some noise and having to carry gasoline. I have one for home backup .... we are sometimes out of power for a fedays to a week or more after hurricanes and a "solar generator" would not be able to handle running the fridge and freezer for those kinds of times..

I agree the honda makes sense in many ways but as I already have this for home AND I want an inverter on the boat , it seems like a good approach. I didn't get any of the panels with it. I do have 270W of solar on the boat already, but conceptually I see this as a nice perk for the high wattage ac items on an overnight or weekend so likely won't be recharging it there. (coffee maker, hairdryer etc.) Good point about the waterproof bag. I also heard back from the manufacturer and they do not advise storing the unit on its side which throws a wrench in my plan for the cockpit lazerette.

Understand.. I wonder why they don't advise side storage? All electrons settle to the side maybe? ;)

We also bought the AC200.....removed the oven as we never used it. We reconfigured the space for the AC200, a couple of drawers and increased counter space with a built in one burner induction cooktop.
The two products work well together, don't generate as much heat, can use 10-15x depending on heat & usage time. Little disappointed AC200 only solar charges with 24V....will need to reconfigure our 12V solar set up if we're out for longer than a week.

I'd mount it on the aft bulkhead behind the head, just use stainless through bolts with nice large fenderwashers in the head.
