Good day. I have recently purchased a Bluetti AC200Max Solar Generator for home back up, primarily in the winter, and was planning on using it in the summer for powering my AC needs. Either through the shore power plug or as a stand alone with its own plugs. It has a 2200W pure sine inverter and 2048Wh LiFePo capacity which will be great for weekends and overnights. The only issue is its weight, which is 60lbs. Has anyone used one of these or an equivalent?
I have a reasonable house bank (345Ah Fireflies) which works great, so this is just an add on as I already own it. This is instead of buying an inverter for the house bank. I am mostly concerned with how to store and secure it onboard. I have thought that the main lazarette could work with a padded bin or even the port aft lazarette again with some type of bin and securing. Some type of strap attachment to the aft port bulkhead (on the quarter berth behind the head)? Any ideas are welcome. BTW it measures 16.5"x11"x15.2" Looking forward to hearing what your combined brains can come up with.
