This is the first spring for my Catalina 27 with an inboard engine. In the fall I changed the oil, charged and disconnected the batteries. Is there a webpage where I can go that will give me step by step instructions of what and how to get my engine ready for launching? Thanks.

Hey Bob, I have the M-18 as well (Catalina 30 - "88 Mark II) and one of the best sources for information is Torrensen Marine (marinedieseldirect.com). You can download operating manuals, parts illustrations, get some great guidance, order parts even subscribe to a free newsletter. They are located in Michigan and a great source for all things marine diesel. Bob Georgia

Impeller

I tried to remove the impeller today and the shaft came forward - is this going to be a problem?
