2 quick ?s, please while checking the transmission fluid today, i discovered that i did not know how to read the dipstick. there is a line around the stick one half inch from yhe bottom and a whole in the dip stick one half inch from the top.should the full mark be the whole at the top????/ no. 2 ? when the engine is off, we keep the water intake closed, and do not open it until the engine is started. while opening the water valve after cranking the engine, i discovered an exhaust leak which seems to be from a gasket at the engine. there are only 2 bolts that hold the exhaust manifold on. would this be as simple as it appears to take loose the manifold, replace the gasket and rebolt. if yes, would an auto parts store carry this gasket????? thanks lee
