Tuning the Mast (shroud lines)

I would like to adjust (tune) the shroud lines on my Catalina 30. I have just stepped the mast and have no idea how tight or loose they should be.I have a "loose gage" but need to know the recommended settings or where to find them.Thanks;Miked

Oft Forgotten Step

After stepping the mast & tuning the standing rigging, check the prop shaft alignment. Failure to have the shaft properly aligned can accelerate wear on your cutlas bearing.Recycle all those beer cans, too.--RonD
