Last night we saw one ship and this morning a fishing ship out of Galicia Spain. I tried chatting with them but both were focused on business....

Yeap - when we left St. John's, predict wind had us route north of our great circle route. Then weather changed and it looks a lot better running south of some ugly storms.

Great circle routes are lovely straight curves, dodging weather makes for rather a different route.
