Hey Don;
What is the minimum length required for a traveler to be effective? My Hunter 26 does not have one presently. The least offensive place to put one would be on the sole of the cockpit, in front of the main sheet attachment ring. This would give me less than 3' of travel. Moving it up to span the seats would give me about 6', but would make seating uncomfortable and create a real tripping hazard. I don't want to consider mid-boom sheeting and a traveler spanning the companionway because of 1)cost and 2)ease of use. I single hand often, and need everything aft where I can get to it.
