All you Pearson 303 owners, I have a question. Stock transom ladder enters the water by 17" one rung in the water. We need at least 2 more rungs in the water to comfortably get on & off the boat. Has anyone replaced their transom ladder? Who did you use & what did you buy?

We just got a P-303, but haven't addressed this. What have you decided to do?

I also hve a Pearson 303 and I purchased an "up-n-out" dingy ladder at a boat show. Works great. It is made for a dingy but hooks over and ties on to the second rung of my ladder and adds another two rungs into the water. I think that the web site is "up-n-out.com" or do a search for dingy ladders. The design holds the ladder straight down and it does not swing under the boat. Easy to use.

So far we have not replaced the ladder I have a quote of 1000.00 to make a new ladder that will fit the transom mounts of the existing ladder. I am trying to get another quote.
