Hi all!
I have an '83 Hunter 31 project boat. Looks like it's had a couple transducers during its life. The depth meter shows power, but does not display any reading. The cable from the transducer is barely hanging on the back of the meter and looks only slight better at the transducer itself.
Can I just cut the cable and replace the entire length, or should I try to solder it all back together at the two ends? From what I've found on this boat, the cable may have other problems I just haven't found yet. I just got it back in the water a few months ago and don't want to pull it out again so soon
Any suggestions??? Thanks!
