Nice setup there Gubb! I would put some side bracing on those uprights though.........just as a precaution. A box is strong, if it stays at 90 degrees, but once it starts to go, it's all over. Are those strap winches you're using to lift it up? Good idea.

I am considering picking up a trailerable boat that needs work. Right now, it is on stands. I have a trailer that can haul it.

Is there a way to transfer it from stands to my trailer in the owner's back yard?

It is a 22' boat from the '70's.

Thanks in advance and fair winds!

Dan
I used a gantry and block to lift my boat from the trailer and put it on jackstands. I explain in detail how I did it right here: http://www.ericson25.com/2013/10/trailer-to-jackstand-transfer-or-how-to.html

Gubb, this is a very nice setup you have. Makes me want to start a winter project. Well done!
