tiller pilot for the 27

can anybody give me feedback on the simrad tp10 tiller pilot? I am interested to know if it works well for the 27 when sailing to windward and also downwind.

Simrad TP10

Doug,I have TP10 on my 1978, 27Cat. I love it. Sailing to windward I give it high marks considering I sail in an area where wind direction is variable. Under power it's great. Gives some freedom to leave the tiller when singlehanding. Downwind fair but acceptable. Simrad took care of warranty problem very quickly. Good luck, Ray

TP Tiller Pilot 100.

Doug,I have a Simrad TP100 good for boats up to 34'. It was used on a 21 ft boat with no problem, to my knowledge. I cannot tell you about the windward/downwind part, but I also have the instruction booklet with it. It is good up to a max.143lb.thrust. May be interested in selling it.If not gone by early Spring, am putting it on my 22 Cat. Good Luck!
