I have a Beneteau 373, the mid ship stanchions are located behind the switch panel on the starboard and cabinets on the port. Any recommendations on how to tighten the stanchions without ripping the boat apart?

Have you tried to find an opening that permits you to reach in behind the panel and put a small wrench or socket wrench on the a nut beneath the deck. If no through hull bolt then you would need to do the tightening from on the deck. Perhaps if you posted a picture of the stanchion bottom and a view from inside the boat one of the sailors here may have an idea.

If it's like my 331, the stanchions have a threaded post that goes through the deck and a single large nut underneath to tighten. I have found that most of the ones over the cabin can be accessed by pushing aside the interior flexible finish "panel" that's right under the stanchions.

Here are some photos - the stanchions have a through bolt, washer and nut on the underside of the deck. There is are outlets forward of the stanchions on the interior.

Any recommendations on how to tighten the stanchions without ripping the boat apart?
I noticed that on my 343, the stanchion nuts are accessible by way of the flexible foam backed liner that extends from the headliner to the inside of the hull. There are a few that can be accessed from within cabinets mounted to the interior of the hull. I really need to rebed mine; however, they are not leaking yet. Thinking about @Mainsail's recommendation of counter sinking the hole on the deck and re-bedding with butyl tape instead of 4200. Any suggestions?
