I noticed that on my 343, the stanchion nuts are accessible by way of the flexible foam backed liner that extends from the headliner to the inside of the hull. There are a few that can be accessed from within cabinets mounted to the interior of the hull. I really need to rebed mine; however, they are not leaking yet. Thinking about @Mainsail's recommendation of counter sinking the hole on the deck and re-bedding with butyl tape instead of 4200. Any suggestions?Any recommendations on how to tighten the stanchions without ripping the boat apart?
