We have a 1982 Hunter 27 with merriman yacht specialties steering pedistal. To maintain throttle rpms the helmsman must continually push the throttle lever forward. Is this how it is designed or can the throttle arm be tightened on the inside of the pedastal so that the throttle arm will stay in positition at a set rpm? (the admiral does not like having to hold the throttle arm forward continuously while motoring)Just thought I would ask before taking the pedistal apart. Chris
