Other possibilities - crashes, etc.
I suppose it is also possible that the remains are from plane crashes, boats sinking, etc.However, I was in the Canadian coast guard for 19 years and do not recall agencies finding just feet after accidents, etc. One time, I did find a shoe during a search that belonged to the person that had jumped off a Cape (cliff) in Newfoundland that we were searching for. There was no foot.The only exception to the above for me was after the crash at Peggy's Cove Nova Scotia, of Swissair 111 (an MD-1011). I will not go into the details.regardsChris
