I was asking about the fasteners , not the connectors . I've tried a variety of different types metals of .
Corrosions from different metals seems to accelerate the process . I've tried stainless ,zinc brass screws
Fasteners in general? or for a specific purpose? This thread was about electrical connectors.

To the extent possible I only use 316 or 316L fasteners.

Fasteners for making electrical connections
That's a little vague. For terminal strips or similar connections use the screw that came with the device. Spraying the device with Boeshield or another anti-corrosion compound, should prevent or reduce corrosion.

On batteries it is ok to use SS nylon nuts and washers so long as there is no SS between the connectors and the bottom connector and the battery.

In 40 years of freshwater sailing on Lake Ontario, I've never had an issue with corrosion on the electrical connections. Even with 2 years in saltwater, I've not had an issue with corrosion on the connectors.
