I hate spending money at West Marine because they are SO over-priced on everything. The local Home Depot caries spools of Anchor Marine Grade wire for $3.67 a spool..West Marine sells the same wire for $19.99 a spool.Still,I do swing thru the local W/Marine for a magazine and such from time to time.Hence my querry. I was there couple days ago and found thier brand of Synhetic Wood Varnish on sale..normally this stuff goes for $29.00 a quert..on sale (they call it "a promotional")it was only $6.00 per quert.I am in the process of completly redoing all the interior wood on my Lancer 29..and at $6.00 a qt. this stuff is cheaper than anything else.even the MinWax Spar Varnish I was going to use on the inside and WAY cheaper than the Cetol Light I was going to use on the exterior. My question is this; Has anyone used the West Marine (made by Epiphans)Wood Pro Plus on thier woodwork and what kind of results did you get with it? I bought 6 Querts of the stuff..more than I need but will find some other uses for it,I'm sure.
