My C-30 has a factory switch at the nav station for the bilge pump. The pump has a float switch for automatic operation. Is this not an item that should be hard wired in (with a fuse of course) so that it is not accidentally turned off?
My 79 Catalina has a switch on the control panel and it is a momentary contact switch. It by passes the builge float switch and runs the pump manually when pushed. It works great. Jim Nixon Live Now
