After reading all this, I'm glad my board is just fiberglass. I replaced my pendant line this past fall. I found it was in better condition than I thought and could have went a few more years. The guys at the marina services placed my boat on a rack that was about 7'in the air. So changing the line was pretty easy. Having a fork lift and some other equipment available would surely help move around 1200#.
