Modification to fit 31
From what I understand it has to be cut in the center and have about 3 inches removed and glassed back together. I have a 31 close to my boat and I need to spend some time measuring when I get back down there. I'm starting on the piece for my 34 in January. The 31 by my boat is interested in one and I will probably do all of my research and development on it. Where the cut will be there will be very little exposed and you will not lose any strength. My fiberglass guy said if we cut one and piece it back you won't be able to tell. I'll keep everyone up to date on it as i progress. Tim Welsh 86 Hunter 34 S/V Cabo Wabo Lake Ouachita, Arkansas P.S. It does increase waterline under sail, so speed is supposed to pick up also
