support under deck organizer

Okay, I've finally order new halyards, blocks, deck organizer and rope clutches and I have a halyard organizer to run my lines aft. They come from Rudy's (except the halyard organizer) I ordered a triple organizer and a triple clutch. I forgot to ask for advice on installation. I'm not sure what hardware comes with them but do I need a plate under each? Can I use aluminium? (I have a source) or do I use wood, steel? They will go on the cabinroof starboard side. Hoping to do the deed in the next two weeks. Thanks, Mike

Support for deck organizer and clutch

Mike A plate under each would probably be the best but I just used stainless steel fender washers. It is working fine and a lot faster and easer. The only place I could find to mount the deck orgainzer, that would work, was right over the bulkhead. I ended up with a through bolt on each side and a wood screw in the middle. It is a great addition to run the lines aft. Good luck with your project. I have posted photos on the photo forum of my set up. Paul Palmer
