Stuffing Box Size

I am trying to order some of the new GoreTex packing material for the stuffing box on my 1993 C-30. It has the Universial MXP-25 engine. The local dealer said the correct size is 3/16" and the C-30 web site says 1/4". Who is correct?

Sorry this has nothing to do with your question just a hello. I bought a Cat30 also. Keeping it at Sail Harbor on Wilmington Isl. in Savannah.
