Has anyone else had to with the grey rub/ spray rails on aquapro dinghies getting sticky and gummy in heat of the sun. I can clean it off with WD40 but sun reappears in strong sunlight and heat. Thinking about some kind of sealer or maybe a Hypalon type paint to seal it up for good.. Any ideas out there?
Thanks....:)

Had the Same Problem .........................

....................... with the oar lock supports on a Quicksilver dingy. The vinyl pontoons were always in good shape but these were two cast vinyl areas which used to be sticky.

Solved the problem temporarily by quickly wiping down the problem areas with acetone    and then immediately wiping down with Meguiars Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner and Protectant. I'm sure Armorall would do the same thing.

Used to do this at the end of the year when the dinghy was cleaned up and coated with protectant. Not a permanent fix, but quick and easy.
