If this is the same generic two-cycle being sold inexpensively around the world, I can tell you that it is a noisy little bugger. Think of an air cooled two cycle outboard running on your transom, and you have an idea. Listen to it run under load before you buy. RD

Looks exactly like the ETQ from Pep Boys
I picked one up last winter. It works well enough but mine is a pain to start. Once warmed up and running it's not smoky. It's actually not as loud as you would think either. I've gotten quite a few positive comments on it down at the marina. Probably can't beat it for the money. It also has a 12v charging output. I guess it would depend on what you are
going to be using it for. To charge batteries and power tools at a mooring I guess it would be ok. For sailing comfort I would not use it as they are noisy and smokey, I would rather put the money into a 1200 watts inverter installation to be able to run 120V appliances.

imported for anyone.remember you get what you pay for . i have a kawasaki kg-1100 quiet and works great evevn charges batteries on the 12v side would'nt trade it for a new one
