Stern pulpit

Hello everyone,

I'll start by saying that I'm new to sailing and have just purchased a 1976 Cat 27 recently. I have a lot of sailing friends so I'm going to learn as I go. My question though is that I'd like to find a stern pulpit for the boat. I've looked everywhere I can think of, and haven't found anything. I'd also like to know the price difference between buying one new or having one made.

Any help is appreciated.

Congratulations on your Catalina 27! It's such a great boat to learn on....

Have you contacted Catalina yet? I don't know if they've got 'em, but they've got a whole lot, so it's worth a call (and I believe you should call, rather than email...).

update....I found a couple options from http://www.catalinadirect.com. Seems VERY pricey so I may get a quote to have one made locally. Thanks for all your help!

I just purchased one from catalina direct for 870.00. To have one built was 1200.00.hEll for that much I could have bought welding machine and built one myself.

BTW the first time I called they did'nt have one.I called a week later and talked to another person and they had them in stock.
