Stepping the mast and windex

Got stepping/unstepping the mast single handed down to a science. However, I've found the most difficult part of stepping the mast alone on the H260 is putting the Windex in. I've just about given up on using it. I've got a 6 foot step ladder that I carry, but it's still to high. How do you do it?

Windex Trick

George -Here's the trick that I've used on my H26. When the mast is pushed back on the mast crutch to the point where it's balance is just leaning towards the top of the mast, from the deck I raise the bottom thereby lowering the top of the mast towards the ground. When I get it to a point that I know I can reach, I use a halyard to tie off the bottom at that height. I then head down to the ground, attach windex and antennae, back up on deck, lower bottom to base and insert pin, then up with the mast.Did I explain that ok or was it clear as mud?T J

I use an eight foot step ladder, but have also used T.J.'s method.

But I just leave it on all the time!

Can't see any reason for taking it off??

When the mast is horizontal and travelling at 65 miles per hour the Windex does not want to stay on top of the mast.

Lost my windex
