Dear Friends, I have a Catalina 27 that I bought July of this year. yesterday just as a test I tried to start the engine on the three different choices. the previous owner told me he uses ALL and I have been doing that with no problem. yesterday, I tried number one, she started right up. Started number 2, cranked but wouldn't start. kicked it over to ALL and no problem. Funny, both one and two are brand new batteries. Does anyone have any thoughts why number two (being actually newer and larger than number one) wouldn't be able to start the engine? Could it actually be a wiring issue? any thoughts will be helpful.PS when the boat was delivered to me in july the capt mentioned this issue to me and that was with the older battery. once i took possesion i simply bought two new batteries.
