! Have a 1987 C30 with a Universal M25, 5422 diesel. Does anyone know the equivlent Model # for a Kubota, in particular I need to find the Kubota starter motor model # that will fit my Universal. Universal wants about $930 for the starter and I think a Kubota will be less expensive. Any help will be appreciated

Ron - have you determined that your starter is fried? A good motor rebuilder can do alot to restore an old starter, before you leap into a new starter have a look at having you existing motor rebuilt. I just had mine done, with a new solenoid - looks and works brand new - less than 200

The M25XP is aD950 the M25 is just a950 Ijust bought 3 new fuel injectors with glow plugs new filters and srarter for under400 bucks and they sent me the service guide .It was a diesel parts supplyer I replaced the starter and it works and looks like the old one.Ikept the old one as a extra.
